Probably one of the worst Short Churchills I’ve had. You can’t really tell from the picture but it’s full of big green spots. I’ve had it in my singles box for a couple of years and got curious. Construction wise it was flawless though. Rich thick smoke and razorsharp burn all through to the end.

Three cigar work day.. 1998 LSdL, just mindblowingly good. It has been hit or miss with these in my experience but this was definitely hit the full way. That old school blend of finess, tea like flavors. Then a RASCC from 13 and a first year release of the HUHC tins (2012?). And I think all that goodness actually helped me make some progress!

UAO ENE 18 Talisman, from our host.

It’s from a box that I find to be very special, even compared to other Talismans that I have smoked.  They have very light wrappers by EL standards, and the one I smoked out of the box already, was beautiful in every way.  I put the box at the bottom of the humidor, to only smoke on special occasions, but it’s been a pretty rough week at work, so, what the hell?

A beautiful MEG FEB 16 Connie A after a very long day at the office. Wife and kids are up at the cottage so I went on a date with myself and had some swordfish tacos and now this wonderful cigar.

Yeah, like @Brandon says, these are from the cardboard 5-packs. I've had mixed experiences with buying older cigars in cardboard packaging but the two from this one have been truly fantastic (freed them from their prison as soon as I got them).

Yes we're live!This is a Jorge Lopez rolled Monsdale from my first trip to Cuba in late February of last year.Not pulled one out for a while if at all since I got them at Club Havana.I recently learnt that Jorge has left Cuba (yes I'm late)-this brings back memories of visiting him and him bounding up those 50 wheels
Hope he's doing well in Chile (?) and his replacement does just as good job rolling with whatever recipe is cooked up!
Shout to Mike Choi my chaperone for two trips, making sure my food and excessive cigar procuring demands were met ??

Working from home today, meaning that I can enjoy a nice cigar while fighting for the rights of my clients. 
It’s a beautiful morning in New England so I grabbed my eight shots of espresso over ice and lit up the last of my 2007 Edmundo Dante Cobde 109s. 
I must say that this is a wonderful cigar! Construction is amazing. Sweet cedar and tobacco with some fruit. Not really in tune with the Montecristo marca, but man, do I wish I had more. 

Fantastic cigar!

I took a few hours with a 1998 Lusitania courtesy of an incredibly generous surprise by @GotaCohiba.  Started it out at home and finished on the course—it was a great day!

Love Lusis for an all afternoon smoke!
