It was my first ever CC that I bought just a year ago and thought it was great, especially for the price point. Mine was from a 15' box and it was pretty floral but really enjoyed it. Enough to get me hooked on CCs ever since. Very good, floral notes (like you said), cedar with a little sweetness. I sometimes overlook Punch because the marca is on the mild side generally but when the flavors are full, it is a great first cigar IMO. I have never had any construction issues with it, which is fantastic considering the price. 1
Popular Post encephalization Posted August 12, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 12, 2018 2003 Des Dieux. Godly*. Beautiful white ash throughout. Subtle flavor changes. Woody throughout, hints of vanilla at the halfway mark, sweet and floral to finish.* = this is not an attempt to discuss religion, I promise. Popular Post Akela3rd Posted August 12, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 12, 2018 PDS4 (ASR AGO 17). This box has been a real winner, over halfway through it and unlikely to stop til they're gone. I'd originally planned to lay them down for a while but they're good now. This one had a minor wrapper issue but it didn't affect it one bit. Had it with a Brewdog alcohol free ale called Nanny State . Not bad at all. Sent from my ActionMan walkie-talkie 10

Wow, that looks beautiful! How long have you had the cab? Has there been any changes in recent years? I've had a few from '03 and some from '05 and I've been in awe over how good they've all been.

I picked up that cab around 2013 and have managed to hit it pretty hard over the last 5 years. I have about 10 left knocking around my desktop humidor and don't have the box anymore. I can't say I have noticed any changes over the last 5 years but they are just as good now as they were when I got them. I don't smoke them often anymore as they are not my preferred format. I have to be in the right mood to pull one out. However, when I do grab one, I am never disappointed. 1

Having the first one from a box and enjoying it but believe these will develop a lot more with some time. I’ll try to wait until next year to try another. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 6

Popular Post JohnS Posted August 12, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 12, 2018 1. Sancho Panza Belicosos PTR Oct 2016 This has become my favourite 'treat' cigar lately, you know, the type you have on the odd occasion which stands out from your usual choices and usual flavour preferences. I can't put into words adequately how smooth and mild this was for its age. The flavours were all beautifully subtle, like in an quality aged or premium cigar. Hints of salt, leather and wood along a light toasted tobacco, marshmallow and herbal spine with a creamy texture to each puff. Unique, sublime and I can't wait to sample the next one! 2. Trinidad Fundadores RAG Nov 2017 The coffee flavour in this was stronger than the last one I had, but that unmistakable dough flavour was welcome, as well as the madeira cake and almond nut. I enjoyed this with a Cognac Sidecar cocktail, a quality drink for a quality cigar! 3. Romeo y Julieta Churchills OBM May 2017 The Romeo y Julieta berry flavours were welcome as was the sweet anise and rosewater complementing it. Unfortunately, the wrapper was a little thin on this and it tore as I removed the band in the last third, resulting in a stronger tobacco flavour at the end as I was left with the binder! Oh well, C'est a vie, it happens to the best of us! 16
