Popular Post Stump89 Posted August 5, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 5, 2018 Non Cuban today, Padron 1964 pyramid maduro. I have been very disappointed in my last couple Padrons, but this one is fantastic. Creamy coffee, rich sweet cocoa, brown sugar. 8

nc6789 Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 That Eagle Rare is some fantastic bourbon. Honestly, I like BT better, but this wasn’t terrible lol
Popular Post Bram Smoker Posted August 6, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 6, 2018 Long day digging an electric fence for the dogs. Deserve a nice reward. LGC Paraiso (ELG Dec 14). I am more impressed with these each time I smoke one. Just a gem in my book. 10

Popular Post Cubadust Posted August 6, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 6, 2018 So in my ”a new cigar every day” summer challange it was now time for the HdM Epicure No.1. Mediocre first half, quiet nice second half but wasn’t really worth the wait. 8
Popular Post zeedubbya Posted August 6, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 6, 2018 Smoked a 2006 or 2008 (can’t recall exactly) Epicure 2 on while sneaking 9 in last week. I meant to post it because it was excellent. There was a eucalyptus/herbal sweetness in the final 3rd like I’ve never experienced in any cigar. A lot of 10 year plus Hoyos I’ve had have been extremely mild, but this was a near perfect cigar. Flavors very well defined. Also a big thanks to the Czar team for the generous random draw sampler contest winnings! 15

Some have been good...but not anything memorable. I've never had them more than 1-3 years old. Do Hoyos turn amazing with lots of years on them? Is that what I missed? 1

I guess they’re just not my profile. On the other hand, I had a HdM Petit Robustos from 2012 a couple of months ago and it will take something quite special to beat that stick as my smoke of the year. Best cigar I’ve had in a long long time.
Popular Post Akela3rd Posted August 6, 2018 Popular Post Posted August 6, 2018 Rafael Gonzales Perla 2013 in the garden whilst waiting for the next name in the UK sub-forum box pass to come through. Yes, there's a UK sub-forum. Yes, there's a box pass going on. Yes, this is a plug for both. Kierkegaard Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I have had the complete opposite experience... About 1 year ago, I woke up at 3.30 in the morning to write something. And I smoked a Hoyo Epi 2, which must have been older than 2014. It was bought along with another one. The first one I had was 2-3 days after making the purchase and was disgusting and unsmokable. The other one was about a month later. It was the best cigar I had ever smoked. Just pure honey, brown sugar and cream, an extremely velvety and oily smoke . Absolutely amazing... I will never forget that night/morning. It was pure bliss. 1 hour and 30 minutes of pure wow. My palate was extremely clean, having eaten just some yogurt. Along with some white tea it was incredible. One of the few times I nearly burned my fingers and my mustache smoking it. But it was all worth it. I have had others which were okay, but my God I wish I had a truckfull of those ones... Anyway, I do think aging makes a tremendous difference ... Sent from my Moto G (5S) Plus using Tapatalk 2
