An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Burn, draw and construction were near perfect but flavors were good not great

Exactly reflecting my experience with them. Compared to the other, more recent LEs (GE, 520), which were/are truly great, a disappointment so far, though the format is so much more enticing.-

520 was and still is one of my favorites, still have one on occasion. Hopefully time will help the Dantes.

1998 (?) Los Statos De Luxe followed by a much, much more recent MC5. The LSdL hinted at something fantastic, especially the middle section.3f93b2b71eaf3ce8bf8b1e57c3457ceb.jpg14f9fc3646481a79435016434d0e5658.jpg

Very interesting history on that Statos Deluxe. Never heard of it so I had to investigate. I guess they were all handmade until 1980, where they turned to machines to make all their cigars, not just the smaller vitolas. Probably why they got discontinued
