I watched an instructional video afterwards, and I definitely went beyond what was typically needed. I think that hole ended up tainting the last 3rd for me, which I ended up pitching.    I was getting too much or an acrid taste. Very similar to when you purge a cigar and relight it an hour or so later.  Not pleasant at all.  But, the tool did let me enjoy most of the cigar.  

That did look pretty bored out lol. I've been smoking cubans for about 4 months. I started with 3 packs, and two thirds seamed to be plugged. Almost gave up, then a near perfect box of BRC restored my hope. Construction has been a big worry for me when purchasing cuban cigars. Perfecdraw has put that worry at ease for the most part. Be good to yourself brother!

Finally done with the night shifts. Now got to get reacclimated to daylight by Sunday morning. Either way, figured tonight was a good night to try these out again. LUB JUN 14 Cohiba Siglo IV paired with a couple fingers of Lagavulin 16 yr Scotch. Great combo these two together make. Have a great weekend everyone.

It was very good.  The last one i smoked was one of the best cigars I have ever smoked.  I am saving that box, so this one is from a different box.  While still an excellent cigar, with a lot of complexity, it is not the experience I had with the last one.  Still, from someone who is not generally a big fan of ELs, this is my favorite EL in a long time.  

I think they are underrated now, and will be highly sought after in a few years which is why I bought 2 more boxes in the last 24:24.

The ugly duckling. Goes to show again: forget all your wrapper theories out there. Tastewise, an extremely delicious, and if I had to rate it, a solid 96-point RASCC for me. Ever once in a while you run across that particular "golden leaf" that seems to be hidden inside.
