Nope, but if I see any in Havana next month they will be mine

I'm always guilty of wasting at least 1 cigar from every box solely because of my lack of patience.

I absolutely love this very large cigar ashtray!!!

Do you mind telling me where you purchased it?

Also, What is the actual size Length x Width x Height (inches) and weight (pounds)?

Thanks!!!ll

Wow, By the angle of the pic it looks a lot bigger than that.

It looks really nice!

Made myself a Cafecito de Cuba, added a smidge of HC7 and then fired up a 1998 PSDC No 1.  It had a tight draw, so I put my PerfectDraw to use with good results.

Just got a perfecdraw myself. I feel a whole lot better about buying cubans now.

Perfexcion #2. I love these. They have Dominican twang. de6ccf4811e60748b1cc0040058af9ae.jpg

I smoke cubans almost exclusively, but every now and again, I return to OpusX or Padron and appreciate them even more. They are truly epic smokes and always live up to expectations. I have a bunch of OpusX I bought in 1998-1999. Here’s one next to a new OpusX....I’ve only smoked one and it was the best cigar I’ve ever had. The one I had was so dark it appeared to be an OpusX Maduro.

TBH I've been smoking CC's since 2009 and I've only had about 5/6 plugged cigars, two of which I had to pitch right off the bat.  I bought this so I wouldn't have to pitch any vintage sticks with a tight draw.  According to some friends who are well familiar with the PerfecDraw, I overdid it with that hole I bored out. I watched an instructional video afterwards, and I definitely went beyond what was typically needed. I think that hole ended up tainting the last 3rd for me, which I ended up pitching.  :(  I was getting too much or an acrid taste. Very similar to when you purge a cigar and relight it an hour or so later.  Not pleasant at all.  But, the tool did let me enjoy most of the cigar.

Many thanks to my friend @teckneekz for this one.

I see that you use a v-cutter alot for your smokes.  Is the cut better than my Palio cutter?

Thanks

I’m not sure if it’s better than a straight cut but I’ve been enjoying the draw it gives me. I’ve had this cutter for a couple years and never used it, I pulled it out about six months ago and haven’t stopped using it since. I guess it’s all personal preference. I loved my Palio but it broke one day and they haven’t been quite the same since the company sold.

Por Larranaga Monte Carlo with a white wine tasting in Castello Banfi Montalcino Italia

Purchased the cigar as a single from a Habanos Specialist in Florence. Got a CORO in a tubo as well which I’m saving for tonight after a good meal. Ciao

Nice! I don’t really drink whites but I’d love to be there for a tasting of there Brunello’s. Doing that at the winery with a cigar, wow that would be awesome.

Don Pepin Cuban Classic belicoso. Haven't had one in years. Do they taste Cuban? No.

They are, however, a pretty masterful blend that augments the Nicaraguan twang, rather than shoving it in your face like most Nicaraguans seem to do. The caramel hiding behind the soft leather is a real treat. I have 4 left to age for a while.
