Sure enough there was a screw stickin out of my tire. “Great. Hopefully it’ll stay put til tomorrow when i can get it plugged” I thought. No such luck. Screw got thrown. Tire got flat. Drove the rest of my work shift on a donut. Fun. Parts stores and service shops were all closed. Of course it happens on a holiday... Had to drive to the boonies to walmart after work for a plug kit. Got back to my parents’ (where i have access to a compressor) just in time to plug my tire to the sound of deafening screaming fireworks. Murica. ~12 hours after this s$&;storm of a day began, I’m finally home, clean, and enjoying a 1995 Punch Corona, courtesy of the ever benevolent @jerrybrowne . All is right in the world once again. 1995 was the year (and right around this time of year, now that i think about it) I smoked my first cigar at the ripe delinquent age of 11.
