Such a beautiful blend, Partagas through and through but yet so complex. A lot of toasted notes on these two, both toasted bread and roasted coffee. Hope I can source a similar box in the future. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk I’m most of the way through a box of BLP OCT 08 myself. Despite giving/trading more away than I actually smoked, i have thankfully managed to keep from touching my box of BLP NOV 08. Although I think I’ll have to delve into them this year. The examples from the OCT box appar to be peaking. Would be a shame to let an 898 go past its prime. They’re so good that @FatherOfPugs even put up a ‘halftime scoreboard’ review of the one i gave him as his best cigar of the year. If i could smoke 898s every day... 1

Trying to burn through em because I can't bring myself to pitch the rest When i have ncs that I don’t want (the ithers go to a friend who’s new in the hobby), i just give them away to other patrons when i go to smoke at a lounge. Usually puts a smile on a few people’s faces when they’re gifted a ‘high end’ nc

Really great taste (I love maduros), but ammonia set in already at the end of second third and quite strong,- had to lay it down as it took the pleasure away. I won’t try this box again for a year at least. 3

I won’t try this box again for a year at least.I will add that I got those oily psp genios. MOL Sep 17. A few months older. I had to try one too after a month acclimated. Dry boxed too for a few days and tossed in the fridge for a few hours in a plastic bag, clipped (got the idea from Prez) to dry out the stick. Smoked surprisingly well, great flavours for sure but definitely young. I won’t test another for at least a few more month. Probably should wait another year but I can’t do that lolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

Popular Post George-eed Posted June 27, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 27, 2018 JL 2 this evening. This was my first purchase from the 24:24 offerings about 6 months ago and they are definitely tasting better now (even though they were still great at the start). Makes me wish I’d bought another box from today’s offering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 13

Popular Post El Hoze Posted June 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 Ran into Carlito Fuente at the airport (again) a couple of weeks ago and he tossed me one of these. Great cigar. And hard working guy! 15 1
Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted June 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 I'm sure I probably said this the last time I had one of these, but these MAR 14 RG Perlas are really tasting great. I was a little nervous after the first couple weeks after getting them, but with a month or two of rest in the humi these are turning out really good. Tonight I'm pairing this Perla with two fingers of Eagle Rare Bourbon. Also, imo this is one of the best Bourbons you can buy for under $30. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 15
Popular Post Hotboxx Posted June 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 Rott Punch Punch REG FEB 2018 PE. el pres said top 5 young cigar so I’m trying one right away. He’s right so good. 14
Guest Nekhyludov Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 The heat is so brutal tonight that I can only stand to be outside for a short smoke. Luckily I have a good one, thanks to @zeedubbya. 2007 Diplomatico Number 5. Beautiful smoke. Graphite, mushroom, yeast, and clove.
Popular Post Danimalia Posted June 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 Didn't get a picture of the Principe I had earlier, but this is a Roma Craft CroMagnon Aquitane in a nice panetela size (5.5" x 37). This is the second I've had from the box, and this one is, uh, strong. Definitely stronger than the first, which was also fairly strong. I got these to serve as a nightcap cigar, and I do rather like them. 10
Popular Post JohnS Posted June 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 28, 2018 1. Montecristo No.4 AEM May 2014 Mild and nutty in the first third, the dominant Montecristo cocoa, coffee and tobacco core flavours kicked in thereafter. A very good cigar, nonetheless, just a little stronger than what I would have liked for a cigar 4 years of age. 2. Cohiba Siglo I OBM Nov 2015 Outstanding for its age! Cohiba grass/hay, honey and citrus with vanilla and a developing smooth creamy texture. Glorious! 3. Cohiba Siglo II OBM Nov 2015 More emphasis here on the Cohiba grass/hay notes than anything else. Honey and citrus was evident a little at times, but has not developed in cream texture at all. Still a lovely cigar! 19
