Popular Post zeedubbya Posted June 26, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted June 26, 2018 Started out really tasty with good solid Upmann flavors, went to a gritty, rough, metallic not good taste at about the end of 1st 3rd, and just as I was about to toss it at half way it completely transformed into a nice refined shortbread and baking spice with a subtle sweetness. Also noticing an interesting butterscotch element. Wonderful value in these little sticks and haven’t had one draw poorly yet. So good I had another one for breakfast the next day. Such a beautiful blend, Partagas through and through but yet so complex. A lot of toasted notes on these two, both toasted bread and roasted coffee. Punch Royal Er Benelux (2009) creamy, citrus notes, and that sourness I love with punch. Hoyo Gourmet twangy creamy sweetness, with peppery wood. Connie A (2015) this one sang to me; just rich chocolate, spice, and orange notes (?!) RyJ Short Churchill (2017) - creamy cherries, meets cedar.
