THEMISCHMAN Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 What’d ya think? I have a ‘14 box and have a hard time not smoking the whole thing. Agreed, it’s a great cigar. I’m glad I have a few boxes.
Popular Post encephalization Posted June 21, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2018 La Puntilla, sourced a few months ago. After a couple weeks dryboxed, this is smoking very well.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 11
Popular Post Akela3rd Posted June 21, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2018 I've sort of got out of the habit of posting Daily Smokes, but this one warrants it. I've been looking for an excuse/occasion to try this and decided the longest day deserves the longest cigar. Davidoff Royal Salomones, courtesy of my good friend Andy. Absolutely beautiful. Smooth, rich, slight spice, sweetness occasionally - this could take a while...in the meantime Happy Summer Solstice Northern Hemispherians! 9 2

Popular Post Guantanamera Posted June 21, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2018 I’m an occasional Bolivar smoker and hadn’t smoked one of these since last fall. Thought I would revisit. Great draw and construction with the typical Bolivar flavor profile adding a layer of baking chocolate in the mix. Pretty good!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 8

Popular Post JohnS Posted June 22, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 22, 2018 Some more recent cigars... 1. Trinidad Fundadores RAG Nov 2017 A very complex cigar. Started off with dough flavours, with tea, butter, grass flavours (like a cross between a Herbal Trinidad of old and Cohiba) and then more earthy, wood and spice later. Smoked slowly to prevent overheating. 2. Por Larrañaga Montecarlos TOS Mar 2017 Smoked very slowly to prevent overheating...100 minutes. Caramel, honey, wood flavours with a hint of coffee and nut after the middle third. I love that mottled wrapper! 3. Rafael González Perlas PMS Abr 2015 A beautiful 30 minute smoke. Mild cocoa, honey sweetness with floral edges and baking spice at times. 5 out of 5! 4. San Cristóbal de La Habana El Príncipe TOS May 2016 Cocoa, molasses and coffee flavours throughout. An enjoyable 35 minute cigar. 5. Romeo y Julieta Churchills UEB Ago 2017 Another beautiful Romeo y Julieta Churchills cigar! A wonderful combination of spiced cherry, tobacco, rosewater, anise and Turkish delight sweetness, which was more prominent in the first half. This was a pleasure to nub after 2 and 1/2 hours! 6. Cohiba Siglo II BTO Dic 2012 Wonderful notes of Cohiba grass/hay and honey throughout with citrus. Cream texture is evident, and should develop more with age. 13 2
