I was digging thru my humidor and stumbled up an almost full cab. I love finding lost gems. Aside from an open draw, flavors are good. 10 years? Should be smoking beautifully.... 2

I remember the main complaint about these, too short. I’m wishing it had another inch or two. I also found some 2009 BRC Tubos. I will light one up tomorrow. 1

Popular Post JohnS Posted June 10, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 10, 2018 Cigars I've had lately... 1) AGU Oct 2007 Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill (from the Aged Sampler) Anise, light cocoa, cherry and cream, a glorious cigar which was happily nubbed. This was the best of the aged sampler series of cigars, for me, in my opinion. 2) OUR Ago 2007 Cohiba Secretos (from the Aged Sampler) Cohiba grass/hay meets a maduro-inspired coffee and chocolate flavour. Even nicer when it's 10 years old already! 3) TGP Feb 2007 Montecristo No.4 (from the Aged Sampler) Montecristo cocoa, coffee, cream and nut. Very good but not super(lative). Then again, they can't all be, can they? 4) SOM Jun 2016 Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Prince This really has been a nice box. I think I've gone through 40% of it through smoking regularly and handing them out to friends to try, knowing already what the reaction would be! Typical Hoyo Cedar and cocoa combined with some vanilla on the edges wrapped up in a smooth creamy texture...just perfect! 5) EML Sep 2014 Por Larranaga Montecarlos Gifted by my mate Jason, this was all caramel, honey and toast. Again, just perfect! 6) EML Abr 2014 Por Larranaga Petit Corona Gifted by another dear mate, Steve, this was similar to the Montecarlos in its caramel and honey notes. The only difference was its strength which I equated with more of a coffee flavour. 7) RJB May 2007 Cohiba Siglo II (from the Aged Sampler) Citrus, grass/hay and honey. This was good but somehow I would have loved some more cream to it. Still, not bad! 10 2

I will pick up a box of current production to compare to the OR. 1

Popular Post Tollickd Posted June 10, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 10, 2018 Romeo Y Julieta Mille Fleurs MAY 15 Ok after smoke review well I know people may slate me and being a newbie I would say one of the nicest and pleasant smokes I have had yet! The Trinidad Reyes was amazing Flavour but was very disappointed with the draw. I did buy a Vigia but want that to rest in my humidor for a few weeks/months before lightning up! And the Maduro well that might have been the strongest cigar I have ever tasted! Maybe it was too young I will buy a few to age! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 5
