An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

They are coming around really well. About half way through the cab, and now they have the cream and honey I love so much (in the beginning they were a bit too strong and harsh for my liking).

Definitely benefits from some ageing.

Feels weird to say it but I think I just had the best cigar of my life.

Strange when this happens isn't?. On one hand, you would imagine the smoker should be overjoyed, but you always are left with the fear that, that last cigar may be the best you'll ever have.

I friggin love epi 2s ....is love to get a hold of some with some decent age on them

If the rest of the box is a good as this one with only two years on it, I'm just to smoke through the rest of box as it is. Just great.

la gloria cubana exclusivo reino unido (2008) - sure she’s not a looker, but she envelopes you with her sweetness, floral scent, and cream! 3e2fa9d906fdd385c25384b1dc934eed.jpg

Nice smoke, I remember when those came out, wish I had a box... They are probably very HTF now. Those bands are one of a kind unique to that specific release, cool stuff. I hope it actually smoked well for you. It should with a decade of rest time on it.

I’m a believer that these should age incredibly .......everyone says smoke them now but I think otherwise based on their flavor profile ! Love to hear that this smoked well for you ..

One of the best cubans I've ever had, absolutely amazing from start to finish. I also have and SLR serie A from 2011, a beautiful churchill from 07, a double corona from 07, and Peru RE from 2014, and I can't wait to try them all. I always thought this was some rinky dink brand that I would never be interested in, but I'm now in love with SLR, excellent profile on their standard releases.

Totally agree. Out of the roughly 40 boxes in my humidor, it’s a 2 year old box of Epi 2’s that's consistently smoking fabulous right now...the aroma is heavenly.

Smoked beautifully, though I must admit the final third could have done with a bit more oomph! You’re right, the band is a work of art, and certainly one I shall be keeping, especially as this was my last one of these! ?
