Cigars I've had lately...

1. PTR Oct 2016 Sancho Panza Belicosos. All leather, salt and wood. A unique blend in the Habanos range, that's for sure!

 

2. MEG Abr 2016 Partagas Serie D No.4. Leather, Coffee, Sourdough, a little toasted tobacco and spice. What more can you ask from a Partagas Serie D No.4?

 

3. PLM May 2011 H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1. Wow...this is how you want them! H.Upmann Shortbread and Espresso Coffee with light toasted tobacco, nut and a quality 'cream velvetness' to each puff. 5 out of 5!

 

4. PTR Ago 2015 Cohiba Robustos. Cohiba hay, citrus, honey was there but the core butter/mocha profile was too dominant in the blend. So, effectively, what I'm saying is that is was fine, it's just that I've had (much, much) better!

Crappy desD from ASB Mar 07. When you are really looking forward to a cigar.... you're bound to be disappointed. Underfilled, lopsided burn (shaping into into a full-grown canoe), and the initial underwhelming taste gotten worse and worse. Tossed after first third.
