prodigy Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Punch Punch A/T ALT FEB ‘13 with a big glass of Four Roses OBSF Single Barrel and Ginger Ale. The weather in East Tennessee is spot on San Diego this afternoon. Mid 60s and cool breeze. This box was mongrel and Jekyll&Hyde the first 2 years. Now, it won’t make it to July. Spot on Punch Punch - construction, vitola, flavors are all there with this classic. How about some PSPs of these??Oh man, you added single barrel 4 roses to ginger ale?Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 1 1

Popular Post HDGSN Posted April 29, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2018 HU Connie No 1 PLM MAY ‘11 Do Sir Winnies really get better than this? I have never had one but this is pure vanilla half and half with just a touch of cedar, especially on the lips. This may be the best thing I have in my humidor right now. Wow. 15

Oh, of course! But a good Trini that tastes like cake donuts and spiced vanilla bean is hard to mistake for anything else! Been too long since my humi had some Fundadores in it... 2

I’ve had some really good smokes from the Johnny Os Always surprisingly good Especially when they get a few years on them. Let me know if you want to try a couple of the other vitolas I have.
Popular Post LLC Posted April 30, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 30, 2018 Seen a few of these posted lately so thought I’d go dig one out and give it a go. OGA AGO 11Started out quite good, became a bit bland for a short time but finishing very nice with increased strength and flavors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 14 1

Popular Post cfc1016 Posted April 30, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 30, 2018 Brought a reynaldo cañonazo (~2016-17ish?), 2017 MDO4, and 2015 qdoc to work in the traveldor to work today. MDO4 started the day off on the right note. Never disappoints. Qdoc showed me yet again that it is, in my experience, not a timid, mild, light-bodied cigar by any stretch of the imagination. The cinnamon and allspice were really intense, and it was by no means overpowered by coffee. It again reminded me of my characteristic impression of the habanos of the 80s and 90s. Really classic, ‘old school’ habanos profile. Truly sublime. At the expert suggestion of @jerrybrowne , I decided to put the reynaldo away to age instead of cracking right into it. Back in the box. To be continued. Instead, when i got home, i lit up a monsdale, courtesy of @awkwardPause Quite a treat. Reminiscent, to my palate, of a young 898. Simultaneously intensely spicy yet creamy and velvety. Again reminiscent of ‘habanos of old’. I’m putting it in the ‘good to really good’ range. Gonna have to smoke more of these to feel like I’ve gotten a proper handle on what it’s bringing to the table. 13 1

I also have 5 1998 Monarch Tube from a box in my humi too. These are in my top 3 of favorite cuban cigar that I have smoked over the past 20 years. That box of 2007s should be a real pleasure to smoke through. I have a handful of 2008 tubes that are great. They’re a favorite of mine as well! 1
