rickengman Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Last night I smoked a fantastic VR Classicos from 03... I'm almost sorry I gave 6 of them to some of my Mates...
thecrowder Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Had a grandes de espana...really wish I could find another box of these!
maverickdrinker Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 98 bolivar petit corona at the beach this morning
chrismfontanot Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 A 2011 monte 5 with morning coffee. This thing is really on point. Zero bitterness and flawless draw. This is the first of a 5 pack, but wish I had gotten some more of these
dmbfan61 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Spent last evening with a bottle of Torbreck "The Steading" from 2007 and a HQ PSP2....good times.
Lotusguy Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 One from my oldest box - Fonseca Cosacos from 1996. Not weak or flat at all!
UpInSmoak Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 A wonderful Trinidad Reyes. Very smooth and well balanced.
aavkk Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 tonight I'm breaking in the patio at my new home 10 minutes outside Charleston, SC with an LLN AGO 03 Siglo VI I remember when I bought these from the PCC aged program 4 years ago, this is my 3rd from the box and each have been glorious. I love this town and already feel at home here!
Lotusguy Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 ERDM CS with a sickly greenish wrapper - delicious! Doesn't always have to be the dark ones...
LLC Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Had a great Robaina Godfather custom I got at the farm last fall. I had it while watching the Spain vs Italy game and then the Canadian Grand Prix. Now that I figured out how to watch TV outside I don't think I'll be doing as much reading while enjoying a cigar
maverickdrinker Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 RA Gigantes that was gifted to me when I was in SoCal. Deliciouso!!!!
Lotusguy Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 ERDM PC - plugged. I hate it when you take a puff and the only smoke comes out from the foot of the cigar
mk05 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Partagas Fox Selection #13, Tres Petit Corona mid '70s
ramon_cojones Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Great parta 898 today. Finally got my hands on a couple boxes of rascc
Fii28 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Relaxing end to the Q's birthday weekend! Not smoked this cigar before & I do enjoy trying new cigars... Overall not a bad smoke. Quite mild compared to MC & RyJ I usually smoke . Need to get a new lighter though damn thing keeps dying on me....gift to self on its way
Tony1T Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Upmann Noella in the morning A few months in the humidor did wonders for these. When I first got them they were pretty harsh. Now they've come good with a creamy-nutty flavour and a nice aroma. I've only got one left and I'm planning to get some more
Ophidion Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Getting ready to go fishing for fluke and sea bass. Just enjoying a really old Clasico.
Lotusguy Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I went top shelf after the plugged ERDM PC.... Quintero Nacionales - from 2003. It was actually pretty good - the almost 10 years of age have smoothed it out and it was just pleasant tobacco taste all the way through. The ash held quite long for a TC stick. Best of all: NOT PLUGGED! Not bad at all for the price I am far from Captain Quintero, though - Private Quintero at best
ramon_cojones Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Ugh no more man feet in sandals please guys I almost brought up my lunch. Thinking of a nice epi especial afer this rough day.
DougB Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Reached for a BPC, which is my go-to dog walking smoke and accidentally picked up a '99 BCE. I have made worse mistakes
