Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted April 18, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 18, 2018 It’s a little chilly tonight in NJ, so I’m smoking in the garage again. Hope these days are over soon. Im smoking a 1997 Punch Churchill. It is firm and box pressed, but pre and post light draw is fine. This cigar hasn’t lost any of its strength. Come to think of it, it seems a lot stronger than I remember them, but it is both strong and smooth at the same time. Very leathery, with pepper and coffee coming through. <edit> The second 1/3 is a lot less leathery with the pepper becoming predominant, with a floral undertone. It is either not as strong as the first 1/3, or I have just gotten used to the strength of the cigar. 16 1

Let it rest 6 months & try again... It got better for me after that rest. It was a lil tight at first third for this one. After that it was good all the way...... 1

No harm trying letting them rest another few months since you have a few more left. 1

Lol ....how about don’t grade cigars that feel like bricks psp and sell them at premium prices.... and then just chalk it up to the game...im so frustrated with buying amazing tasting Sticks that an 8th of a box are garbage.....and this is anywhere you get them doesn’t matter from who or where Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Could it be that your humidity level is too high? If yes, try to lower it down to 62-64% and try the rest again after a month or so. If they are "heavy, burning on one side and plugged" it sounds like you have overhmidified problem most likely. 3

Popular Post Lotusguy Posted April 19, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2018 Winding down after a busy work week in Hong Kong and China at my usual place in Shanghai - Xin Tian Di - after my usual final dinner before I fly out - Din Tai Fung. - with my first Bolivar Tiempo. Some observations after not having been here for a couple of years:- way more hookers and touts - I’m hoping the cigar smoke will keep them at bay a bit- even more white people than used to be- new record price for a cappuccino - ~$13- the cigar is pretty tasty but is not a Bolivar to my taste. Much too mild. Not buying more than the two singles I got 14
Popular Post Lotusguy Posted April 19, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2018 2015 or 2016 ERDM CS. Sadly, not my cup of tea, as most of them are/were. Probably my least favorite ERDM. Sorry for the blurry pic. 8

It is. What about the canoeing cigar? S**t happens. Your expectations are unreasonable. It’s that simple. You’re asking the sun to stop shining in your eyes, when the rest of us are donning our shades and enjoying a beautiful day. Simply put - get over it. 4 1 2

Somehow, I’m starting to feel like I can live off these things. Any thoughts on how the no. 2 compares in flavor delivery, construction, and overall consistency? I need to find something that tastes like this that hasn’t been axed! 16
