LUB May 14 H.Upmann No.2, followed by a MEL May 17 Montecristo No.2. The H.Upmann No 2 had your standard Upmann espresso coffee and shortbread with a little cedar in the first half. The second half picked up strength with strong hints of white pepper. (It's) Developing nicely. The Montecristo No.2 was okay, in comparison. Montecristo cocoa, nut, coffee and tobacco flavours, it was a little youthful, medium to medium-full and lacking creamy texture (which I adore in Montecristo).

Always have issues trying to pick what to smoke. Been a while since I tucked into my HdM Des Dieux cab from 09. Such a great smoke-still legs for more ageing. Perfect vitola size

This Connie B is very good - tastes exactly like a Connie A, though, so I’ll be sticking with that smaller and much cheaper format.

RA Gigantes, GKI AGO03. Perhaps the best RAG I've ever had. Complex and final third just dotted the i with more classic RASS dark fruit. Marvelous.

I had to pull out quite a few of my NC boxes on the bottom shelf of my humidor to get to the water reservoirs. Found a few of these tucked in the back corner that I had completely forgotten. Pretty solid smoke.

Thanks  They’re by Scion, and I got them from John Lewis (UK based here) Amazon have a few left I think. However, these were a design they made a few years ago, I believe they’re now making a crane version instead! You can still get a few of the Fox ones through serendipity...I’m still hunting down a dark blue one!
