An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Big thanks to a wonderful BOTL for this 2001 EL Piramides!

Not even sure where to start with this one. Came out of the gates swinging, which I wasn’t expecting from a 17 year old smoke. Excellent construction/burn and huge smoke output. Big mouthfeel but no more than medium strength. Absolute flavor bomb of cocoa, creamed coffee, cashew nuttiness, some molasses, oak, and a touch of anise. Finish just never ends it seems. Amazing, enjoyable smoke but tastes the least Cuban of anything I’ve had in a long while. That said, I’ve had very little exposure to this era of CC’s (or earlier) so maybe this is how it used to be! Definitely not finding many recent production Cohiba traits either. Not sure what these tasted like fresh, but they’re sure not past their prime, at least per my palate. Anyone else have recent experiences with these?

One of the best smokes I’ve had in a long while. Cheers!

Recently nubbed one myself, have virtually nothing to add; razor-sharp burn, gobs of smoke, absolutely SUBLIME!  ?
