I rummaged around in my humidor for a quick, short smoke and found a Rafael Gonzalez PE, circa 2000 or so, blew me away. Shockingly good cigar! Wow, I was not expecting that. It was terrific until about an inch and a half then bits of tobacco started to come loose in my mouth.

PSP Monte PE from a recent trade. My first. I've never cared much for Monte as a marca, and I really wanted to dislike the leader of the short and fat brigade. But damned if this isn't a really good cigar.

2004 Opus X A's in commemoration. Smoked it on an empty stomach, not a great idea. Great cigar however.

2002 Vegueros No. 1. When the construction is good, these cigars are very interesting. Wrapper kinda went haywire in the end but overall not bad, a little tight.

This is my third from this box purchased here... Unfortunately all 3 plugged. I tried my perfect draw as deep as I possibly could for a skinny. (Little room for mistakes with this gauge) Still no good. Making due regardless.

I think it's a bit young. For some reason it didn't draw very well so the smoke was a bit thin. Definitely plenty of flavor and full bodied. Would think this will probably turn out pretty nicely.

Won a bet earlier this year and today was pay up. First GR for me, doubt I'll have another one soon. Fantastic cigar though, flavors on point from the first puff.
