This box of monte 4s is SPECTACULAR. This cigar I’m currently smoking has already progressed from walnut to chile to hazelnut to chocolate to leather to peppered steak.  Each one seems to tell a distinct story. No two in the box have been exactly the same. No single stick could give you a feel for the overall profile of the box. None have been mediocre. It's been such a delight to work through this box.

Training for blind tasting.  Punch is one of the marcas I don’t have much experience on. This one was out of the newbie box pass.

Trinidad Reyes (2016) - this box has finally turned the corner, the first half was lashings of milk chocolate and vanilla, the second half espresso and wood. Construction was perfect in this one, evidenced by the fact I could smoke it by removing the pigtail.

It’s amazing how much this smoke has changed since I had my last one 5 months ago, and just shows what age can do to a blend.

Another superbly aged Sancho Panza. Beli from SML Feb 06. Had I known at time of buying what I know now I had stocked up massively..... Love mauve-taupe banded cigars.

Two person mid-day herf. I was pretty excited to try the 2003 Reserva for the first time. Did not disappoint. Nice follow up with the QdO France, a lot of body and flavor in that little guy. Smoking well right now, despite young age.
