The rumours are true, tis chilly out! But no Beast from the East can undo my smoking, indeed the cur was cowed under my electric blanket!

Tonight I smoked a beautiful HdM epicure 2 (2015) from a cab that so far has only had one dud. A florally, creamy first half, met with a woodier final half, all interspersed with salty notes.

Electric Blanket: 1
Beast: 0

Let’s hope there’s no power cuts, or my victory may become rather hollow...

I wish we weren't so pathetic as a country when it comes to weather!! it's soooo embarrassing. We spend 90% are time talking about it and 10% preparing for it

Update: best tasting psd4 I've had to date. Even though it's a little tighter than I prefer, it's smoking great thanks to the perfecdraw.

First try at the Hoyo de San Juan. So far so good. Another one that has sat in the humidor for almost 2 years from Prez before trying. Hanging at Casa de Montecristo in NYC for a few hours.

Without much ado... I'm lighting up tonight thinking of my friends who lost their dad over the weekend. There's nothing more precious in this world than family and great friendships. I'll toast to new friendships alike.
