First one was meh, dud, boring ......what ever you want to call it

A generously gifted QdO 54 from another member - Ioved it. Finally a 54RG stick that wasn't underfilled. Light in body, but tasty. Based on this example, I'm getting a box!

Upmann Anejados - proving the rumor that HSA is sometimes using Nicaraguan tobacco Has the same kind of metallic aftertaste I find in NC sticks, particularly on the retrohale. Not even in the same galaxy as any Upmann I ever smoked.

Another fail in the Anejados line (like all of them). I hope they choke on them.

Just out of interest, are you saying that as hyperbole? (as it pisses you off i.e. the poor quality) or are you convinced there could be some truth in this?.  Genuinely interested

Im smoking my first one right now and as soon as I lit it I said to myself that’s very strange. It has that same pepper taste of Nicaraguan cigars.  So I did a search on here and see I’m not alone.

This is very worrying, I have nothing against NC cigars, but if ever proved, I would be super pissed off.

I was being hyperbolic. Though this rumor persists, even spread by some Swiss CC dealers. I don't believe that to be true.

Thank god. One day, whomever gets the inside track on what these Anejados actually are (in terms of the forgotten pilons theory/joke), it will be an interesting story to hear
