I know...another NC, but it’s a weekday ritual for me until they’re whittled down to make room. Had this single in my humidor for a few years. Started off meh, but by the end it was holy s**t good. Took me all the way back to 12 years old, on vacation in NZ, tasting my first Cadbury fruit and nut bar....the real stuff before they sold out to Nestle. Nub worthy.

Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Depute LAS Mar 15. As mentioned previously, I was fortunate enough to catch @ATGroom, the proprietor of Cuban Cigar Website, on a quick visit to Sydney last month and we shared some Hoyo de Monterrey cigars that afternoon. Cocoa, Cedar, more spice and very little creamy texture, this also had some construction issues which required re-lighting (for both of us, I think). This was nowhere as good as the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux we had earlier that afternoon, but hey, you can't win them all!

I look forward to Alex's write-up on his Dusky Beauties blog of this cigar! (As he is currently reviewing Hoyo de Monterrey cigars)
