Smoked my second H Upmann ages Robusto tonight. The flavour notes were very different from the first one I had, lacking the brown sugar/molasses quality that made it such a pleasure. This one was very woody, full bodied, and had leather in the last third. I have a box of these, so I will be interested to see how they smile and develop...

I've only had one so far and it tasted like your description of the second stick.  I hope the rest are more like your first.......

LAR DIC12 paired with my grandmother's 'rulltårta'. Very full in flavors yet a smooth almost creamy finish. Clear cherry tastes after an inch into it.291293eaaa8e0e644fee98cbebb36db5.jpg

Great smoke and great Scotty headcover!  I played Torrey in December, was in great shape and grandstands were already up.  My first time playing it, played the South in the AM and the North after lunch.  Helluva day.

Really sharp putter head cover. And, playing at Torrey as in Torrey Pines?... man I'm so jealous right now, but atleast I'll be heading to the palm coast of Florida the begining of March and should get my early spring gold fix in then as I hope to play a few rounds down there. I'm thinking Hammock Beach Resort Ocean course with the wife and then maybe another one a little more challenging later that weekend by my lonesome. Still no Torrey. Hope you had a great time! That sounds like a blast.

HdM du Roi (URL November 00), maybe it was just The Porch in Key West but it doesn’t get much better.

Wow, the way that wrapper looks with the sun shining on it is spectacular! Great pic!

Happy Birthday!
Love the cava bowl turned into an ashtray! Did you find it on Fiji or did you ‘customise’ it yourself?

Thank you to you and all for the birthday wishes!

Not really a Kava bowl, (could be used for that) but very cool you know what that stuff is!  The ashtray was hand carved on Turtle Island from a master carver there I had made for me. His Fijian island he grew up on, 90% of all men learn their carving trade at a young age from his island.
