Took a few nights off of cigar smoking to hit the gym up after work instead over the past four days, but getting back to what I truely love tonight... Smoking cigars and drinking beer, Bourbon and/or Scotch.
On the way home from work smoked the AF Hemingway Short Story and that unbranded Ashton Half Corona
Right now smoking this fine tasting '13 RyJ Cazadores paired with a couple fingers of Blanton's Bourbon

My first 2016 Capuletos, from a recent 4 stick 24:24 offering. Received them on a hot afternoon a few weeks ago, hugely disappointed at how soft they were to the feel. Dismally underfilled sticks seemed like a sure bet, as I could nearly bring my fingers together on a squeeze down the middle. Threw them in my humidor hoping for the best.

Fast forward 2 short weeks. Still a bit soft, but things feel much better. Time to see what I’ve got.

Wow, very impressed. I’m definitely a fan of the RyJ cherries-and-spice, and this is fantastically mongrel in that respect. And the damn thing burned perfectly, for a surprisingly looong time. Need more of these, for sure. I’m guessing these would be quite brilliant with 3 or 10 years on them. Cheers!

I was going to post "best corona of the last 5 yrs" Then I had the horrible moment of having to double check if its the only corona left. Fd-up situation!

Hoarding these, so i don't have to buy the new boxes, and wear the complimentary dunce hat.    Get ready to say goodbye to the ERDM styling it's just round the corner

RA Mille Fleur EAR ABR 01. What a little treat. Its been hit or miss with some of the shortfillers I've had previously (the RA Belvederes mainly) but the construction was perfect on this one. Great flavors, the Ramon DNA appeared after an inch or so and it finished very strong. Lots of body there at the end.

Yes, sadly there are no Coronas left, apart from the Quai d'Orsay Coronas Claro and Montecristo No.3 (42 ring gauge x 142 mm or 5.6 inches)

Take heart. You picked up some Montecristo Tubos recently which is a Coronas Grandes (42 ring gauge x 155 mm or 6.1 inches). There's a few more of these left, albeit not too many more! The Cohiba Siglo III and the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux, which no one has seen since 2014.

Cohiba Medio Siglo (2016) - I’m not a massive Cohiba fan but the flavours on this little gem, certainly in the first half, were gorgeous. Hopefully with some more age the last half will be equally good, if so this cab will be a gem.
