Popular Post SokaKiel
Arrived in Yangon, Myanmar last night. Hectic but captivating place!Today straight into Pagodas, Buddha visits and tour around town.Busy markets, lots of little alleys full of shops and stalls. Great food!Just enjoyed a Partagas DC in the hotel garden. Lucky me, I brought enough sticks, prices here are through the roof!Tomorrow I’m off to the country side, Loikaw. Visit to a Cheerot factory is on the list too!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post Philc2001
I tried my first Cohiba Secretos this morning with a cup of coffee. It started out ok, but in the second half it turned grassy and dry. I can’t stand the profile, but I keep trying. So far, aside from aged Esplendidos I haven’t been able to find any I like. No luck thus far with several Siglos, CoRos and a couple of others. I have one aged Lanceros and one aged CCE I want to try next, maybe one of those will meet with approval from my taste buds. I do all my own work on it now with the exception of A/C should it be required.

Popular Post thedame007
HdM Epicure Especial (2016) - from a cab that has a glistening sheen, however this one was packed to pluggery.Employed the perfect D to clear some breathing room:(looks like i've broken up a flake...)Then smoked the little darling - heaps of cream and woody spice. I need to try and lay my paws off the rest of these and revisit in 6 months, as I can tell that for all they're great now, they should develop into something special!

I smoked one of these last night. It was creamy as you noted, with a mild/medium body. I liked it, it's a good change up from what I normally smoke, but it's not one of my favorites. I can certainly see why some people like them though, it is a good mannered somewhat complex cigar.

Popular Post prodigy
Decided to light up a Ramon allones Gigantes before the game. Plugged. Gutted it with the perfecdraw and actual had some airflow. It was smokeable, but still very tight. As it burned, the draw improved. Flavors were very good, just so darn tight. I couldn't bring myself to put it out. About 3/4 into it I noticed a really hard stem where I cut the cap. Grab some pliers and went to wiggling on it. Bam! Draw is perfect, flavors became even better. Hard to believe a stem like that would go into the cigar! Popular Post dmeads1206
First ever Royal Robusto. One of the first 5 or 6 boxes from Prez. Was impressed with the construction, burn and espresso/nuts flavors.

Popular Post Lotusguy
A gifted stick from another member for my birthday. Good stick but would benefit from a year of rest to remove residual harshness. Excellent construction, unlike other Wide Churchills I've had.

Popular Post Optic101
Johnny O Behique54 This one I had in a drybox for couple months after receiving the bundle while freezing the rest “producing “ a “friend “. Remember to always freeze them. A really good cigar, medium to full, no harsh edges reminding me of a mix between Mag48 and CORO. The whole was no trouble. 13

Popular Post SokaKiel
Still in Myanmar, today in Loikaw. I went to a village an hour drive away to visit a small Kayan community, quite an eyeopener to see how they live their simple life just an hour away from town, airport and fairly modern infrastructure!Sitting in the garden, making cotton yarn. Thanks to my guide I was able to have a little chat with this lady and she showed me her small house. Two rooms, that’s it! A sleeping room without bed or mattress and the kitchen. Cattle and pigs lived directly below!Back in town I bought some Cheerot ‘cigars’. Maybe 10mmx120mm. Nice size I thought to myself, maybe 30mins smoking time. They’re the cheapest smokes I’ve ever bought anywhere in the world, quite the contrary to the expensive Habanos in Yangon last night! 3 smokes for $0,08! ?Off we go, cold draw of strong green tea, little herbal, no wood or tobacco flavour.Almost no flavour whatsoever when smoking them, very light, slightly herbal and a little burned paper taste. What the heck I think to myself, for that price I can cut one open and check out the leaf.?Just one outer leaf with wood chips inside! Now I’m surprised that they where so light, no burning in he throat! Will investigate further, in two days I’ll see a place near Inle where they produce them and I want to find out what the wood chips are!Now relaxing g with a Punch DC!If the mods think this should be moved into the travel section please go ahead and move it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 23
