mbrody Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 HdM Ep #2. Good overall. Draw just a little on the loose side, which takes a bit away from the flavor...
glaesthetic Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 '07 HDM du roi paired with my first Zacapa 23. Both were fantastic. Not sure if the Zacapa beats my usual Lagavulin 16, but complimented the du roi nicely.
Bartolomeo Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 03 RASS with MiamiPadronSmoker (Robbie) in Miami today.........great smoke, even better person BTW, lots of good looking ass in Miami Bart
khomeinist Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Helped a buddy break in his new smoking lounge with a cracking Mag 46. Good laughs, drinks, and the odd sporting wager.
samb Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 A wonderful Parti Mille Fleur with Rosemont shiraz and some studying.
JoshMP Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Punch Punch with a nice cold glass of Trumer Pils. This cigar pairs SO well with this beer, i recommend everyone try it.
thechenman Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Last night I enjoyed a H. Upmann No. 2 while watching The Hangover. The Upmann was great...very woody and sweet. The movie was fricken hilarious...anyone who hasn't seen it should definitely do so.
JasonInChiTown Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 SEP 08 HdM EE - walnuts first half - mild/medium; second half more rich leather, hints of cherry - medium. Went perfectly with Cockburn's 10 y/o Tawny

thechenman Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Last ninght a Sancho Panza Molino from '08. Plugged...!
samb Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 A very nice JLP Brevas at work today. These cigars are getting better and better!! Certainly cheap and cheerful!
khomeinist Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Several cigars for the Pac-man sparring match. Excellent Trinidad Coloniales with coffee for the first 'fight', El Triunfadore for next couple of Arum marketing disasters, and a Connie 3 for the main 'event'. Sticks were fine. Boxing? Not so much.
bolivr Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Punch Petit Punch with an espresso just before preparing lunch. Enjoyed it more than previous smokes from this box. Got the lovely leathery taste in the 2nd third. Starting to see what these are all about. Mike
Guest rob Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 A nice looking, but terrible burning Monte Petit edmundo. This is the Uma Thurman of cigars - sometimes fantastic... and then the next time has you questioning what you possibly saw good in it in the first place.
dicko Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 A nice looking, but terrible burning Monte Petit edmundo. This is the Uma Thurman of cigars - sometimes fantastic... and then the next time has you questioning what you possibly saw good in it in the first place. hilarious call re uma thurman!! loved kill bill, but she's not good looking to my tastes. true about the petit edmundo, i know ken hates them. i've had a mixed experience.
dicko Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 today, punch rs 11. lovely afternoon smoke. i bought some singles to try because everyone seemed sad (furious) that they were being deleted. i don't know if i would buy a box but definitely enjoyed trying them
mkz Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Punch Petit Punch with an espresso just before preparing lunch. Enjoyed it more than previous smokes from this box. Got the lovely leathery taste in the 2nd third. Starting to see what these are all about.Mike Lovely little buggers! Spot on re that leathery taste. The only bad thing about these is that the pleasure ends too soon... I had a Juan Lopez S1 on the porch today while enjoying the spring sun. The JL unfortunately had quite a tight draw but still it was very satisfying.
mbrody Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 LGC#2 (07) kept going out...light smoke, final third was the most flavorfull and promising. Love that Petit Punch. Thankfully I have a few boxes stashed away...
brutusthebuckeye Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Late last nite i fired up a Punch Punch A/T....these have been hit and miss....this was a hit...at first it looked like the draw would be way OPEN but it was perfect.......
thechenman Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 dicko...sorry to hear about you Punch RS 11 experience. They are by far my favorite Punch vitola. Last night a Tatuaje Red Verocu Tubo. Meh... Tonight I enjoyed an H. Upmann Magnum 50. Glorious cigar.
