Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted February 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2018 Attended a Blade Runner themed herf yesterday. Our host supplied the 4K versions of both movies to enjoy as well as some snacks and beverages. And I supplied the whiskey made for the second movie. In all I smoked the following three cigars amongst good friends. First up a QdO Corona. PEL MAR 01. Simply brilliant. Just a perfect cigar. Complex. Smooth draw and surprisingly bold for a QdO and vintage cigar. Up next a PSD4 from 2002. Quite the opposite of the QdO. This was mild/medium bodied and not as complex, Still, a great performing smoke. Perhaps the Johnnie Walker affected my palate a bit. FTR, the whiskey was quite nice. It had a smooth sweetness to it. And finally a Siglo V (not sure what year. 14/15?). A good solid smoke to finish out the night. I don't have many of these around as the ones I previously had did not wow me. This was from a recent Secret Santa and while an improvement over the ones I've had. Still not box worthy for me. This was a nice treat from our host. It is bloody freezing here in Toronto. Having a nice warm indoor spot to smoke is just what the doctor ordered. 15

Popular Post thedame007 Posted February 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2018 Tonight I smoked a H. Upmann Robusto Anejados, and it was an utter JOY - First few puffs were salty almonds, but then it settled into wood, cream, and what i can only term as demerara sugar. By the half way mark the sugar turned into a deeper, fruitier treacle, and the wood became heavier and more spicy tones came to the fore. 16

jtfrizzy Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Definately try them. These are a regular rotation in my humidor. Perfect (timewise) for me at work on a coffee break. I love the flavour. Lots of ERDM Shortbread/biscuit flavour. You can definately see a taste/flavour link with the CS. But in a way they are same but different (If that makes sense).Yeah that makes sense. Cool I'll definatly have to give them a try. Thanks for the info. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 2
