Trinidad Ingenious (SOA December 07). Best one of these I’ve had, following flavors melded perfectly. Dark roast coffee, mocha, sea salt and caramel:

Trinidad Reyes (can't remember the box code, but I believe it's May 17). These have a fair amount of punch to them. I do get the lemon cake that gets brought up with these. Nice breakfast cigar with coffee.

Well it is a beautiful day, sunshine, mid 50s (F) and I just cut a nice brindle Upmann Royal Robusto with a perfect draw.  Who could refuse!

Update.  The first third was really nice.  Tad bit under medium but lots of peanuts and cashew flavor was a little bit of baking spice and white pepper.  2nd third had a sharp transition into cocoa and light coffee.  Dark chocolate and black coffee followed with some pepper on the finish.  The stick was only about a year old, so it got tannic and a little harsh towards the half way point.  Needs another year or two.

Enjoyed a mini-Mag vertical comparison this afternoon. The Mag50 is the last of a disappointingly pedestrian OBM SEP 16 box. Each one was perfectly consistent, but had a grating, sharp, one-dimensional floral graphite taste. Frankly, I'm glad to be rid of the box. 

The Mag46, however, sings. The floral note is rounded, and balanced with leather, salt, and twang, and a rich aroma. If I weren't busy hoarding churchills and DCs, I'd be hunting a box of the 46.

It was sweet, I don't have much experience with the PLPC--- actually just got my first cab of them about a week ago.  Definitely a cigar to take your time with.
