maverickdrinker Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 2009 Hamlet Robusto Extra Closed Foot, Pigtail Custom Roll
BatFastard Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Brazo's cigar comp review inspired me so I grabbed a JL#1 from the cooler and fired it up to end the long weekend. Box date is MAY 11 - started off great but turned a touch bitter towards the end. Think I'll let these rest for 6 months or so before I revisit.
Lotusguy Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Monte #4 from 2008 at the hotel in Chicago. Delicious - these are smoking really well!
isa Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 A Trini Reyes tonight - man, is this smoking well or what - just sweet heaven - intense, intense flavours, honey, fruit, sugarcane, a touch of wood & cofffee - rich - just awesome
CaptainQuintero Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Testing out the blend for a retailer's new custom rolls, custom Duke in the Sun!
maverickdrinker Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 06 Montecristo Especiales No. 1. What an experience!!!!!
maverickdrinker Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 03 Cohiba Reserva Media Corona earlier this evening.
CBL Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Just had a really nice RA Superiores while taking a little walk on the mountain near my place. Beautiful weather, amazing view, and one of the best Superiores to date (7th out of a box that has been hit or miss, and mostly miss) A great day overall!
isa Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Cracked open a box of SLR serie A HQ - coffee, cream, mocha, honey notes - not strong body, but lovely flavours
Ophidion Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 SLR a are such a great cigar but I never see anyone talking about them. I almost killed a whole box in 4 months.
rickengman Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I love the SLR's, I bought a Regios 50 Cab. about 2 weeks ago and have been through about 15 already...Need to slow down but there soooo good...Today I had a Super Partagas and a Vegueros Nr. 2., both were great...
Lotusguy Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Had a wonderful Monte Edmundo from the German Jar release. The aromas seemed noticeably more intense than the Edmundos from the regular SBN boxes. Unfortunately, it had a soft spot in the last third which lead to a crooked burn but it was still a 94-95. Yum!

Vegueros and great - not two words you see used in the same sentence very often...
Puros Y Vino Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 A RASS last night. From a 50 Cab. No box press. Love it.
Bartolomeo Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 94' Quai Panetelas 98' Lunch Club 07' Gigante Bart
maverickdrinker Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Just getting ready to smoke this.... 2007 RE Mexico Edmundo Dantes EL 109
Lotusguy Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Trini Fundadores from 2006 - excellent! Too bad I have only 4 left now before I have to break open my 2010 box. Later in the evening a PSP RG Panetelas Extra with an extremely dark wrapper. One of the best short filler cigars ever, that particular one.
bassman Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Last night I had my first pain free jam session since hand surgery. Today I'm celebrating with a 94 Partagas Selecion Privada. Wonderful cigar. Last one- saved it for a special day.
