Popular Post Akela3rd Posted January 9, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2018 Still recalibtating my taste buds after a bout of illness. PLPC (LEP NOV 16) - very nice, definite hints of the famous caramel despite only being a year old. Thunder & Lightening '75 - '15 12

Popular Post Fugu Posted January 9, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2018 Only cigar over Christmas for me... Petit Cetros, while baking the goose. This time quite enjoyable actually! First stick in 2018 was the last of my 2013 BCJ, which I always considered weakest of the last couple of years (2007-2015). This one, however, has been exceptional. Starting out strong and full from the get go. Nothing cute about this small cigar. Taming down in the second third, then becoming smooth as silk, and finally on top of the classic Boli flavours, added layers of malty peat and a very nice caraway note showing up. Classy smoke. Love it - always did, will always do. I guess even more than the past losses of the CE and the CG, most depressing for me would be a future loss of this cigar. 15

I've been searching for some vintage JLP cazzies in the old yellow acetate, but with no luck as yet. I've heard a great deal of people just fobbing off vegueros as just being light bodied and very vegital. Are you suggesting these have got a lot of kick? any particular flavours you could pick?

Popular Post encephalization Posted January 9, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2018 At my local B&M working, after a couple of CCs I decided to show some support with a Padron 4000. Popular Post prodigy Posted January 9, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2018 Camacho liberty series circa 2013. 5 years in a cedar coffin has done wonders! Fantastic smoke! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 7
Popular Post Fugu Posted January 10, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 10, 2018 Belated New Year's cigar. Unfortunately, this 109 was plagued with an uneven bunch sporting a onesided void/underfill running down through nearly the first two thirds of the stick (goes to show again - you cannot really plan forward to a 'celebratory' smoke...too often turning out to be just a celery smoke...). Permanent touchups were necessary to correct a heavy canoeing, and therefore rushing through this stick much quicker than I normally would. A shame. Tastewise, despite the serious burn problems, still a terrific cigar, with a blend that right now appears like a crossover between a Boli Coronas Gigantes and a Sir Winnie somehow. 15
