New Monte....floral 1/3, wasn't expecting that, 2/3 was Monte DNA, last third was young.....this was not what I was expecting but I will revisit again in a month or two

 

Upmann RR...haven't had one in years but this was good 

 

2014 ARG Monte Edmundo....pure cocoa, have had good luck w this code on these as most Edmundos are not very consistent for me

Connie A (2015) for me tonight - although out of the same cab, this one had really deep woody notes, with a hint of cream. Pleasant, but i have preferred the other sticks I've had which were creamier, and had the magical almond sweetness.

Yeah, my experience with the HdM Anejados has been negative. And, I've chucked a few off the balcony. Now the question is what do I do with the rest of the box?

I've only smoked one, and while it didn't knock my socks off by any means, I liked it fine. It reminded me a little of the early-00s Epi#2s. At the heavily discounted prices I've seen, I've been tempted to pick up a box.
