An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

For the nc smokers (usa), I’m smoking my 4th nc, a punch maduro something or rather.... in cocoa beach.

Is is it just the weather or are the people who don’t smoke Cubans proud?

This thing is burning about 3/4” in while the wrapper is untouched.

Could be the the weather but in the last two weeks I’ve smoked in ny, la, Santa Barbara and now cocoa beach.

All different weather, humidity, temp, etc but same lack lustre smoke. Cigars have been Fuentes, Fuentes, Alec Bradley and now Punch (nc).

All have sucked, even in good company who loved and defended them ( none of which had smoked cubans ).

From the picture it looks like it just hasn’t been lit properly. The tobacco around the central white ash looks untouched as does the wrapper. Ive had cigars tunnel before and seemingly fireproof wrappers but they have always appeared to be lit properly initially. I do find cigars a bit trickier to light if I’m outside so perhaps that is playing a part.

There isn’t a reason why a NC would burn badly instead of a Cuban cigar, it’s the same raw material.

TUP OCT 14 Punch DC. My first CC of 2018, and the first stick out of my cabinet since being packed, moved across country, and unpacked.

I think I'll need to re-acclimate everything. This is smoking a little bland.

Monti 4 tonight from 2010 - absolute beautiful smoke; rich, woody, and that magical cream and spice that really works for me. I only have 7 left of these; they may become my first fully smoked box! frown.png

Thankfully, i have another two boxes from the same batch! 41.gif
