This will be an interesting cigar. This was given(I did "tip" her) to me, by an older lady roller,during the tour, at the La Corona cigar factory in Havana a few weeks back. She finished it off right in front of us, and then gave it too me. It appears to be a 5 x 55 , but no idea what it would have ended up as , as far as brand. Any thoughts? So far, quite good, perfect draw, good burn. I'm not very good at picking out flavours though. Only fault I can find, is that small vein that you can see in one pic. Great cigar, at 2cuc!

 

Edit.....did some searching on the size....RJ wide churchhill? It Does taste similar? And maybe why I like it, as its one of my favs?

Juan Lopez Seleccion Number 2

my first ever smoke of this cigar from a 2017 box from our host. 

Creamy, buttery smooth with black coffee in the final third.

Never thought such a youngster would smoke so good and that's despite its broken foot.

Arturo Fuente King B Sungrown. I do enjoy the regular Fuente sungrown cigars, but they just don't compare to the Rosado Magnum Rs. I don't know if it's the lower priming of the Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, the extra age, the filler blend, or all of the above, but the Rosados are just a cut above.

Smoking a Padrón 90th anniversary in honor of José Orlando Padrón. What a legend we lost. 

And I just saw that Oliva Sr. recently died as well. Two huge figures in the Non-Cuban world. I’ll fire up an Oliva later today.
