I find Cuban Davidoffs to be fairly hit or miss, moreso than some of the other super old/rare stuff. This one was very very good, but if you paid top dollar for it at some store in London, etc. you'd be a bit disappointed I think. Which is odd, in that the one that was laying right next to it that I smoked a few months ago was incredible. Part of what makes it fun I guess!

One more from last night. From the Christmas Sampler. Fantastic cigar, and one of many in there I've never tried before. I have sampled a few from the sampler already and they've all been top notch. Kudos as always to the team here.

I always underestimate the fun of trying a cigar you've never tried before....especially when it's good!

I ignored all practical advice yesterday and fired up a Connie A ROTT. In hindsight, I wish I hadn’t. Flavors were dull and the cigar was wet. Second half showed promise of things to come, but the overall experience was underwhelming. Time to put them away for a while. Still very glad I snagged a box. These will hopefully be amazing in the months and years to come.
