Poderosos link. @dealsrme was kind enough to give this to me. Belgium and Luxemborg 2013 ER. The triple band is a thing some B&Ms do, in particular this came from a European B&M.

Went on a motorcycle trip with my Dad, made some great memories, enjoyed some good gars, spirits, and stories. Instead of annually as we have been, we've decided time is limited so biannually is probably wise .

1999 HdM Churchill- there's a trace flavor journey here, but not one that excites me. This started as an entry for the weekend revisit contest, but I didn't get my review written in time. I didn't expect much after putting these away because I never find them to develop in any significant way. Sure enough, this one tasted just like I remember from my last one a decade ago. I was half-anticipating a plug because of the poorly-constructed vintage, but the draw was spot on and the burn pretty even. Thanks for the inspiration, El Pres, even though I wasn't fast enough.

SUB AGO 11 Siglo III- nothing like an aged Sig III



LRE OCT 09 BGM - firm but good draw and perfect burn. Great cigar but I'll give a very slight edge to the Siglo III this time.

Update:

Smoked right to the band. Other ones recently have been too hot to do. This was smooth sailing until my finger felt the heat. Will try again in 6 months.

From last night, final night in Estonia. Fundadores from AUG10, a bit of a soft spot in the first third once it finally got a hold of itself it was a Fundy through and through. Followed it up with a Lusi of unknown date. Final third starting feeling a bit fresh so probably a 16. It started out beautifully though.

Took some clients out today. We broke these out from 2016. Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill. These need some aging so they will go to rest now, no cherries yet.  My clients said they felt buzzed after the cigar. Mission accomplished.

Went NC today. I was really into drew estate sticks for a while so this was one of those "have to have's" at the time.  Not terrible but won't be buying more. RG was way too big as well. 

Had time for a monte 5 too. Am I the only one that gets hints of brown sugar in these?

Been so busy with work and running kids around that I haven't been able to enjoy a CC...well tonight I fired up a Monte Petite No 2 and it let me down with being under filled

It was between the Petite or Hoyo Epi 2, pulling out the Hoyo next time!!
