An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Do they taste like a partagas? Or completely different?

Completely different - which is probably why I like them. Not a big Partagas fan in general.

TOR ABR 16 Connie A. Best one I've had so far - walnut and floral notes, and an oily finish. Very elegant profile.

Luv the band on the Sancho Panza. Classic. The Sublime looks beautiful.  May I ask why an angle cut on the Panza?   Seen this before.

I always do it, just like it better.

I just had my first Dip2 last night....it absolutely wowed me! What a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. Cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, & fresh baked bread for me. Gotta go deep on these.

Depends on whom you buy them from :D

Yup, what I thought. But banded ones sold openly and "officially" as farm rolls at the Robaina farm?!! They wouldn't risk it, would they?

Had my first Boli tonight, from a recent 24:24 offering of No. 1 tubos. I now see why Bolis are considered strong for a CC. Very bold cigar, I’m kinda glad it wasn’t any larger.

Next time, try and take it out of the tubo at least a week prior to smoking, in particular if it's a fresh one, such as in your case here. This is an excellent, complex, full body smoke, which I wouldn't call bold (in a negative way) if properly aged.

I still have a few left from a 2011 box of No.4 and tastewise those are nearest to a Raspberry cake anything can get, amazing !

I realize everyone is different, but how long of a smoke is that for you?

Checked in on the RA 898 Alemania RE. Simply outstanding, though obviously blended to be aged long-term. A much heavier, cocoa/cacao-laden expression of the RA profile. Would love to see these become regular production.
