Received a box of Party shorts yesterday - PLU oct 11, i think. Looks were great. Lighted up one in the evening - there was a slight harshness here & there, but overall an excellent smoke. From toasted, coffee, to dried fruits sweetness, what a wonderful journey :)

Good to hear

I prefer aged Choix

Do you have a preference?

Bart, these are my buddies that he's been sharing with me since last year when he cracked the box. They were actually nicely constructed for what they were and had a nice satin sheen on them. Lower end of medium body when we first started smoking them and they've gotten better in the past 9 months. He only has a few left but I was pretty impressed as I wasn't expecting much. So to answer your question I can't say that I'ved smoked them real fresh and it seemed like trinidad in the sense that it wouldn't get much better over time but I feel it has more character in actuality and has aged though not dramatically. It doesn't have the legs to be an outstanding smoke but it is good at what it does and that's a change of pace smoke that doesn't take too much out of you like a rass or d4. Incidentally I gave him an el laguito 08 cce that was outstanding for his generosity, it was really hard parting with it LOL!

Box of BPC OGA NOV 11 arrived today decided to smoke one for a benchmark and burned perfectly and only slight signs of youth. Followed up by an Illusione Epernay. Good day

I've only ever smoked the cs and one regional that I posted a month ago or so that I enjoyed. The consistency of these cs that he has is very good and better than my current 09 rass which is only really good on the second third, first and third not so much. I've had better luck with cohibas than with d4s and rass lol. What else can you recommend erdm, I will check out.

Mini-herf with a few BOTLs in the Houston area tonight - thanks for coming out, guys, and making me feel like home :2thumbs:

Had a fantastic RG Panetelas Extra (PSP) which was so dark that it seemed like it was dipped in dark chocolate, then a Monte Edmundo which was great as always, and finally a RG Superiores that hit the spot.

Great evening!

Relaxing after a full Friday with a Punch Punch from a -07 box. Lots of leather and salt. Weird.

Paired with a Bishop's Finger and a dram of *****: Whisky from the barrel.

Had a great time with you, Allen and Brent last night. Dragging ass after only three hours of sleep before work. I forget I'm not that young anymore. Smoked a great Partagas 898, Mag 46,and a Boli PC and a few cerveza. Hope you made it back to Cali ok.

Smoking a Cohiba CE HQ from czar - oily, smelly - coffee, cream, pepper, sweet spice & some rich aroma - medium body (got a bit fuller in the middle, then dropped back to medium) - wonderful :)

A PSD4 now , watching a game of cricket, post dinner. Some pepper, touch of sweet spices - good start :)

Relaxing with a RyJ Wide Churchill. This one is nice, but so far I'm missing the cherries that I am looking for in the WC. But it is still a good cigar, despite being young (-10). Sitting on my balcony with a glass of something good (check), smoking a good cigar (check) is definitely one of the better ways of winding down.
