Popular Post Jbhunter223
Diplo 5 getting the smoker ready for tomorrow. Making some venison jerky, but I can't keep the temp under 200 with the door closed. Anyone have this problem and/or a solution? I can crack the door but don't know how this will let too much smoke out?
Guest Nekhyludov
Davidoff Puro d'Oro. IMO the only recent Davidoff line that's worth a damn. So of course they discontinued it.

Makes a big difference as the propane will continuously build heat where as an electric will throttle itself. An electric pellet can be adjusted like the all electric, too. It's propane and that's with the vent fully open, it's a top vent.

Also, have you confirmed temp with an established thermometer?(I don't think it would be that big of a difference, but...) I like to smoke jerky around 170°-175°, kill the heat, and let it set a few hours. Still, somewhat, moist. I'll give this a shot! I did some looking around online. Looks like they make propane likes with a needle valve attached might look for one of those too. Thanks for the help!

Popular Post mgcrunch
Friend told me about the song "one bourbon, one scotch, one beer." Figured I should. Noah's Mill, the first bourbon that 'clicked' for me. Springbank 12 Cask - could use a break from Islay Weldwerks Juicy Bits - kindly received in a beer trade 2015 Tatuaje cigar. It was OK, nothing mind blowing.

I.e. a very uniform break indicative, pressure with nowhere else to go? Seemed like a pressure break to me. Thin wrapper, to tightly rolled, showed in a boxpress, and somewhere between cuba-australia-sweden it popped.
