Romeo de Luxe from 2013 EL series. Excellent construction, good burn throughout. Typical EL profile which I enjoy. I equally liked the other 2013 offering, HDM Grand Epicure. Time to burn the 2013 stocks?

The Tatuaje was a disappointment, basically a poor knockoff of a Padron Anniversario. The Monte was better by a country mile. 

Tatuaje typically needs to age a few years before it is worth somking,there a few exceptions, but i find it especially true with their stronger profiles. My OR 2012 cojonu broadleafs are sublime at this point, but were overtly strong char-pepper bombs in the first 10 months.

The 2015 TAA's are smelling amazing in the collection, but i dont think i will be smoking one for another year or so.

2007 Esplendidos. This cigar had its moments, but I actually have been preferring the younger examples.

That could be the issue. It started slow and finished harsh, nice in the middle third. 

I could see some age improving it!

Other than the #9, I've been underwhelmed by the majority of the Liga Unico series. Not that they're bad cigars, just not worth the hype IMO. 

But I do enjoy the #9! YMMV

H Upman.   I sorta crushed it.  Thought I would need the draw tool, but it smoked great. Nice uneventful smoke.  I find boring exciting.
