First impressions are the construction and draw are good (may be a bit on the loose side) with a great burn to start. A little below medium in the first third and not much distinct flavors until end of first third when white pepper became the main flavor I could pick out. Started with an ice tea and then a frozen Mojito for the rest. Second third still mainly white pepper and light toast. Had to relight because I left it but burn still razor sharp. Strength picking up at medium or slightly above, no sign of chocolate to this point. Final third strength still a bit above medium and in general more spicy it's the white pepper on the finish and retrohale. Great burn all the way through and very enjoyable but lacking complexity. Time will do these good. 92 pts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk May I ask what you are drinking?
Lotusguy Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 The straggler in my Quintero vertical tasting.... Petit Quintero. Pretty harsh. 3

alpyigit Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I also had a Dantes today. Overall, construction was better than the Monte 80 that I tried recently. However, still felt slightly under-filled. I think this is the new norm for Cuban cigars going forward. Started rally flat and improved second half. I did go deep on these, happy with the decision so far. 4

It started out very light and floral with body picking up along the way and complexity like I've never had before, flavors all over the place. This is probably the best cigar I've smoked, thank you for the opportunity @archosaur, cigar bliss! Very glad you enjoyed the experience my friend! If only they could all be like that! 2

Exactly my thoughts while smoking, imagine if this is what all cigars were like? If theres any way I could return the favor I'd be happy to help with anything you're short of in your collection 2

Guest Nekhyludov Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Tatuaje TAA 2016 Toro, followed by a PRA FEB 11 Monte 4. The Tatuaje was a disappointment, basically a poor knockoff of a Padron Anniversario. The Monte was better by a country mile.
Sprouthog Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I've never smoked that, how is it Baking chocolate pepper creamy. Just what I like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Popular Post ethosan Posted August 6, 2017 Popular Post Posted August 6, 2017 El Gueguense corona gorda Very nice, coffee, cream, some very pronounced cinnamon and nutmeg. Amazing body, thick chewy smoke. What stood out to me was the very dynamic textures and mouth feel on the finish. Sometimes oily with coffee sweetness, and othertimes earthy, salty and dry like peanut husks, but always very full in texture and flavor. Really a great cigar. If you like aganorsa grown tobacco ( illusione, Casa Fernandez , maestro del tiempo) You should definitely try these 7

encephalization Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Tatuaje TAA 2016 Toro, followed by a PRA FEB 11 Monte 4. The Tatuaje was a disappointment, basically a poor knockoff of a Padron Anniversario. The Monte was better by a country mile. On the same note (in reverse order). Smoke the 2017 TAA (this year's still has the 2014 band but with a slight motification) as a second cigar today. It is what it is, it won't turn a palate like mine onto domestics but it isn't a bad cigar. For my first cigar I broke open a box of 2009 HdM Epicure Especiales. Sooo much flavor, a treat in every meaning. Candy like. This might have put me over the edge on buying the new Seville jar.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk 4
