ethosan Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Oliva V Melanio #4 Kinda like a padron 1926, not as long a finish, but decently complex smooth well rounded flavors 2

Popular Post Lotusguy Posted August 4, 2017 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2017 Going to try a few different Quinteros today - started out with an OR Famosos. Despite the rough appearance, a pretty good cigar. 6
JLFIRST Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 From my experience with the Party Privada, you are going to be one happy BOTL! It is a superb cigar!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

I haven't had the Connecticut wrapped one shown here, but I thought they weren't bad (aside from the horrible packaging ) Well, it's a gas station, so they haven't the maduro. It's just the better of the available choices. And yes, the giant prescription sheet they wrap it in is quite gaudy... 1

Popular Post Lotusguy Posted August 5, 2017 Popular Post Posted August 5, 2017 Next up was a disappointing 2003 Quintero Nacionales. Now a relatively young Quintero tubulares. That one is the winner of my little vertical tasting today. 9

If a 2012 Monte 4 gets you- yes, you are in big trouble. Nothing against Monte 4s, mind you, but there's plenty to be had in the blows-a-Monte-4-a-mile-out-of-the-water category.

CrankYanker Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Had this guy tonight which was brought to me from friends up north. Tasty Monte. Nothing like drinking some craft brew with a Habano in hand working on the car. 1
LGC Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Smoking with my father-in-law. He's on the Juan Lopez Corona and I'm on the Sig III. That's great you enjoy hanging with your inlaws enough to smoke. I gave my FIL a 1998 ERDM Lunch Club, and he snubbed it out after half. After urging from my wife, I tried twice with her brother. A 1998 Monte 5 and 2002 Partagas Corona barely got smoked. I learned my lesson.

My FIL appreciates everything I throw at him as long as it's not longer than a Corona and has a loose draw.
