Just did a search and I'm surprised how little attention it gets. Best corona gorda I've had so far, although I have had limited experience with this vitola.

I agree. The Siglo IV has a lot of complexity and is very satisfying. I'm also a fan of the Siglo III, which is sort of does a 180 on the Siglo IV. It goes without saying, Rob picks the best if both.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Hey mate... ever try that Cohiba CE? Opening up the box got me to smoke one myself the other day. Started cool and very mild and progressed to an exquisite, robust but sophisticated cigar. -Piggy

Have not but its on my to do list this week, glad to hear you liked it :)

Will have to try the Siglo III. That and the Siglo IV would be my preferred size.

Made today a freshie day.

2011 Cohiba siglo vi; needs time for sure. All power right now; needs to settle down and come together. Cedar and leathery notes right now. No hint of oolong tea or creaminess.

Had a H. Upmann half corona. Thought it was pretty good. Will have to get a fiver as Upmann typically isn't in my wheelhouse.

In my top ten, when they're on they're ridiculously good.

A two cigar Sunday for me. Started out with a nicely aging box of Punch PC which has gained some sweetness. After dinner stroll was accompanied with a Monte Esp2 provided from our host... just one word to describe this guy, elegant. It's from an HQ '09 box.

So far today a BCE from 2008 - great, as usual. Came from a 50 cab so no box press :2thumbs:

Nubbing a Siglo IV tubo selected by our hosts right now. Very good even though I believe it's young.

had a 2008 RE Caribe Juan Lopez Short Piramide that was gifted to me, while BBQing tonight. Very delicious. Something might be happening with my palate. Starting to enjoy a few more different brands outside of what I normally smoke. Might have to get a fiver of these and start to hoard my other juan lopez REs.

'11 BPC while walking my dog after work- bold and spicy...now having an R&J Short Churchill. Surprisingly very nice thus far but no cherries as of yet.

RG Cigarritos from 2001 in the morning - not plugged :spotlight:

Absolutely fantastic LGC MdO from 2007 in the afternoon.

And the best news: My box of 2002 Ninfas arrived today. They look even better than my 2001 box :2thumbs:

11 HDM Short Piramides LE......young, spicy on back of throat with some sweetness on aftertaste, not ready now but worth the coin to lay down IMHO, price point is fair

Saturday morning: Punch Petite Corona del Punch. Glad I stocked up on boxes of these.

Saturday evening: Mag 46 from new 50 cab that arrived. Wrappers lighter and not as oily as my 25 box. Still good/fav CG.

Sunday: 898V. Very good.

Monday: Illusione Holy Lance. 2 hours of goodness, albeit never changed at all in the 2 hours of smoke time. Granted, it's always good, and never a Forrest Gump issue: "....you never know what you're gonna get."

All some of my favorites, Arnold. I've been plowing through a box of Punch PC del Punch with about 3 years. They're on so I'm smoking them. Mag 46 and 898V are another two of my favorite, forthright in flavor and complexity, Amen to that!

I'm detoxing after more than a week of 4-6 cigar and too many cerveza days. One HdM Epi 2 and two cerveza Indios.

Boli PC. This particular cigar is representative of the marca/vitola and why it is a legend in my book. Splendid. More than makes up for the frustration I've been having with my cigars as of late. I'm a believer again.

Just came in from my sunny porch, even though it was kind of chilly! Loved this Bolivar Gold Medal... purchased here of course. Unwrapping it was kind of sexy...
