dicko Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 had my bday (22) over the weekend, it was very hot but had some friends around and we had a lot of wine and cigars i had - h upmann 48 LE, siglo VI, padron panatela, hoyo petit robusto. enjoyed all, siglo 6 obvious stand out but not wow. lol not enough money to do that every w/e, I wish though
thechenman Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Smoked a Bolivar Corona Extra last night. Normally I find the Bolivar a bit too earthy for me, but this cigar was fantastic. Slight earth, a little sweetness, slight woodiness and tobacco flavors. A great cigar...made me want to revisit the other Bolivar vitolas I've smoked and didn't care for.
PartagasIV Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Enjoying an 07 RA Eminencia with morning coffee.
mbrody Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Short smokes in the past few days have included: 07 Siglo I 08 Monte #5 07 Partagas Short 07 RASCC They rate in that order, with the Siglo I taking the cake.
thechenman Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Last night was a Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 1. A very nice and relaxing smoke while I watched Hurt Locker. Great movie.
Stalebread Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 This afternoon a Cohiba Espléndidos. Don't know the year but I got it in 2008. Very good, lots of that honey, caramel, buttery flavor up to the half-way point. Then more spice coming through.
samb Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Today was a wonderful HQ ERDM Choix Supreme and Coke. Smoked to the nub.
thechenman Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Last night a Romeo y Julieta Corona. Nothing special. Bad burn, ugly ash, burned uneven, a little too tight on the draw.
MIKA27 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Last night, I enjoyed a Trinidad Reyes (From Czars) quite a nice little cigar, highly recommend it.
PartagasIV Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 May 08 Upmann Conn.#1 which was fantastic, and now the first 08 CoRo out of the box that I have actually enjoyed. Going to bed happy.
thechenman Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 After all the take about Cuaba Piramides, I pulled out an 2008 LE and smoked it. Fantastic cigar. Just as I remembered it.
Kangaroo495 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Dip 3. Not overly impressed, but I did have a hellish hangover at the time.
mbrody Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Boli CJ - a bit too tight, I chewed on it, stuck it with a key, and gnawed some more until it was smokeable...
SandmanTR Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Friday afternoon office smoke-out. Monte #2 and ice cold glass of Shiner Bock.
rckymtn22 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 RASCC last night in the Garage. Finally warm enough, it was pleasant but kept going out once I got down to the nub.
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Friday Cigar at work - A LGC Medaille D'Or #1, my first one. Fragile wrapper started to unravel a little bit, but a tasty smoke with sweet cake, and a nice spicyness in the final 3rd. Very refined smoke! The draw was very loose, but the ash revealed no tunnelling or evident underpacking.
Bartolomeo Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 05 CoRo.......really could be my everyday smoke Cuban Crafters Robusto from the back room.........not bad at all for the price but its no Cuban Bart
khomeinist Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 La Corona Panetela before lunch Partagas Connie 3 before dinner damn all deletions! Must I buy 20 boxes of Diplo 4?
Stalebread Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Yesterday afternoon a Cuaba Piramide. As I recall, much richer than the first couple I tried.
Wil Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Diplo 2. Burn is slightly off, but wonderful draw. Very enjoyable.
