2013 La Punta from our host.  From the first puff, it was dessert.  The book says to expect molasses and cake, and by gum if that's not what this cigar delivered.  Faint bit of chocolate, too, though elusive.  Seems to be burning hotter than normal, which means one needs to sloooow doooown to maintain the depth of flavor.  89/90.

Trinidad La Trova 17 (no date code). A beast of a cigar (6.5x52), but way too young - 1 inch tasted great (a lot of very creamy and smooth coca), but then it fell apart due to its age.

May I ask how you got ahold of those? I'm a big Trini fan, and still haven't found these anywhere.
