An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

HMD Palmas Extra. Stiff draw. But very flavourful. Coffee, caramel, nuttiness. Towards the end of the first third....POISON! :surprised: Three seams of gooey sap touched my tongue. Had to wash it out with soap practically. Pitched.

PSD4 (circa 2004). Smooth, sweet as pie. Subtle, but some complexity lost IMO. These are at their peak.

SLR DC. Graham cracker sweetness, tea, cedar notes, last third a bit banal. Overall very mild smoke. Not much evolution. This might either be a bad example or these need more time.

Last of the comparison sticks: RyJ PC - not bad, but nothing to write home about either.

PGT ABR 07 CoRo.......hello long, lost friend....this is what a CoRo should taste like, vanilla-grass with a great aftertaste......always a treat when you find a CoRo that smokes like it should

Yesterday was a 5 cigar day spurred on by my customer Jovan who had six!

I had:

PSD4

BRC

BCG

BRC

PSD4

He had two PSP2's and count em four PSD4's

We both had a few too many Bohemia cervezas and a few mojitos.

I'm finally feeling better so after nubbing a CoRo, I'm lighting up a RASS.

help me if Jovan shows up again!

I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.630183,-87.069774

So after three days with Jovan on the deck I've been a averaging 4 sticks a day and somewhere north of 7 adult beverages. He has 5 nights left in PDC, lord help me.

Last night had an HdM Epi 2, RASS and two PSD4's.

Just finished my first today, a truly great RASS experience.

A wonderful H Upmann # 2.

Ditto! Mine was from the sampler pack that was on a recent LFTH. Clearly leagues better than the Dip #2 from the same sampler pack.

Prior to that had a RyJ PC which was OK

Smoking something rare now: Partagas Serie D #3 LE 2006. I wanted to post a review but it's pretty boring so why bother? Very mild for a Partagas and so far no flavor evolution from toasted tobacco. Maybe it was stored badly before I picked it up way in the back of the walk-in humidor at a shop in Barcelona (it was the last stick they had)

Smoked a custom blend and couple tests pipe blends from the proprietor at leavitt & pierce in cambridge out of my bang.

Nice to be on vacation.

Had an RA Extra and then an Upmann Royal Robusto (Thanks TomNJShore!) last night at a mini-herf ...having a stunning '10 PSP Sir Winnie right now. Perfect draw with just enough resistance. Really great cigar....and the Royal Robusto was fantastic.

Monte C LE 2003 - as much as it pains me to say, Ken is right about those :lookaround::D

Hey mate... ever try that Cohiba CE? Opening up the box got me to smoke one myself the other day. Started cool and very mild and progressed to an exquisite, robust but sophisticated cigar. -Piggy

Just smoked a gifted partagas, not sure what it was will ask my buddy but was superb. Box pressed, about 40 rg x 5.5" or 6, guessing 03-05.

About a 95, ******* great damn.

Enjoying a Siglo IV. Lots of bitter dark chocolate. Very good cigar.

Just did a search and I'm surprised how little attention it gets. Best corona gorda I've had so far, although I have had limited experience with this vitola.

In the afternoon, I had an AF Between The Lines. Looked great but didn't taste very good. Absolutely WAY overpriced!

At night, dug into my newly acquired single malts with my best friend and first had a La Aurora Vintage 2003 Salomone which was great and then a Upmann Half Corona which, frankly, I don't really remember :innocent:
