These will become part of the regular rotation. Then a NC. New World by AJ Fernandez. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro I haven't tried these yet (Cohiba shorts), going to place an order. What was your smoking time for the shorts?

Popular Post clutch5150 Posted May 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 21, 2017 I know a bit young after 4 months in the humidor...This one WILL age well. Perfect draw with a surprisingly cool and mild sweetness to it. 7
Popular Post JohnS Posted May 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 21, 2017 Cigars I've enjoyed lately.... 1. San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe EML Abr 15 This is one of my 'go-to' cigars which I just never seem to tire of, and I know many of you have your favourites too that are always in your rotation. It delivered in every way this night, both with flavour (cocoa, molasses, coffee) and construction. Just check out the nub, I just couldn't smoke anymore of it (but boy did I want to!). 2. Cohiba Espléndidos PLM Oct 06 (Thank you Trevor) Gifted by our dear friend Trevor (of CCW fame, of course), this cigar is amongst the reasons we partake in this hobby. This was a near perfect Habanos experience folks. As per other Clasica Linea Cohiba cigars, this had a mocha/cocoa spine with honey, vanilla and the smoothest buttery texture to it. Plus it was just so mild, it wasn't an issue at all to smoke through the last third, as you can see for yourself with the final nub. Again, I wish I could smoke more of it! 3. H.Upmann Connossieur A LUB Oct 14 I smoked this with my dear mate, Fuzz. It went down rather well with the 2001 Penfolds Bin 407 Cabarnet Sauvignon he bought over. We both agreed that it was sensational. I know El Pres has mentioned elsewhere that the blend in this is closest to the H.Upmann Sir Winston currently available and honestly, who am I to argue? I think what I enjoy in an H.Upmann cigar is that combination of shortbread, espresso coffee and toasted tobacco, in this case, you get more of that pleasant shortbread than anything else. 4. Cohiba Robustos PTR Ago 15 The second cigar of the night enjoyed with Fuzz was a tubo I picked up last year in a 15-pack. Again, these have always gone down well with me, and tonight was no exception...very, very good is how I'd describe the experience. The flavours were typical for a Cohiba Robustos...mocha/milk coffee, honey, a little buttery in texture. Its youthfulness showed in it being above medium in body. We enjoyed this cigar with a Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin. I have only a little left in my bottle as I anxiously wait for the next batch to be released by Four Pillars soon. 5. Punch Petit Coronation Tubos EML Abr 14 I got these in a split with @golfdude888 (thanks again Steve) and I remember the first one I had was a real powerhouse, especially in the back half. Well, this was nowhere near as strong, yet, funnily enough was not as flavoursome. You knew it had a semblance of Punch in its leather and spice, only it had minimal cream and more toasted tobacco. No matter, it still went down ok with me. 6. Cuaba Divinos TOS Mar 16 I'm not going to say that this was mind-blowing (like some cigars above) but it wasn't bad either. I picked these up from a 24:24 and I'm grateful for El Pres sorting for these as this vitola has a reputation for tight or plugged cigars. When 'on' they can offer up a pleasant cedar/wood, light chocolate and peanut combination. The construction in this case was fine. 15
