Truly a special beer, i failed while trying . I wonder if it's available out of country or did you bring it over ?

Grabbed one from Leura Cellars (Blue Mountains, NSW) on Friday. Certainly a rare beer round here. My first in quite a few years. Love it.

First Outdoor smoke of the year and always worth a mention : BCE TEB '07

Not one of these Coronas Extra from late '06 or '07 has rated less than 93 to 96 points in my book ( and 97 is the highest rating i ever gave, perfect 100 still to come  ), early to mid '06 a little lower.

But there is one special box from DIC 2006 i own where they must have been rubbing the leaves over with sand or something similar, because every time i smoke one of those the whole mouth seems to be covered by some kind of mineralic dust and it crunches between the teeth. Strange thing !

Somebody with similar experiences ?

Man...I gotta say, I love these little powerhouses. Citrus, coffee and rich toasted tobacco. Perfect day for a cigar that slaps you around a bit. It goes perfectly with our crazy Colorado weather. 35 and snow today. The Rockies Home Opener next Friday will be 75 deg and sunny.

Delightful HUHC this afternoon to follow the HUPC I had this morning on the way to a Cubs cook-off (we won with the chocolate chilli). As I arrived at 8am one of the other leaders asked if it was a little early for a cigar, to which my reply was "obviously not..."

I really enjoyed this RA EL 2011 during a hike on the Buffalo today. A couple of bigger storms the last few weeks have made the flow healthy again, might be a nice floating season coming up!

The pool opened today at la casa de Boulevard.  Kiddos in bed after a hard day of playing. 

Mag 56 and a couple fingers (ok, maybe several fingers) of Macallan 12 year double cask.

Sounds like the neighborhood donkeys and neighborhood coyotes are having a rumble.

I felt like I've had to smuggle in a smoke here and there all weekend. Late last night after picking up my daughter at the bus station we went for a late dinner, and I was really hoping to get a smoke. By the time we got home and settled in it was after 11pm, but I snuck out to the back patio and smoked a PLMC. I was practically falling asleep by the time I finished it.

Today, we had tickets to the Jim Jeffries comedy show. We stopped at friends house we haven't seen for months on the way to the show, and I managed to sneak in a Bolivar Tubos #1 - my first and certainly not my last. We just got home from the show, and it's nearly midnight, and I just lit up an Monte #5 as a nightcap.

I only really get to smoke at weekends so was pretty annoyed last night as it was nonstop rain in NYC the whole of Friday.
Dried out today though and sitting out right now with this Upmann Connie A-milder start than I remember from the few I've sampled.Great cigar though and first time in a while that my fingers don't feel like they're going to drop off.Come on spring time-you should of arrived by now!!
