There's something in there like spring rain on dried-out leaves - always an intangible quality to these I can't quite pick out. If anything, a dusty, savory note that reminds me of working in a barn during summer break in the Midwest (I've done that...). Sometimes you just can't predict what your favorite smokes will be...so stop trying! It's the unexpected journey that rewards more than anything else.
