An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Three cigar day for me. Cold but sunny here in the NE. Started with an ok Sig VI, followed with a great 2011 CoRo, and finished with a custom by Alex. The custom was by far the best.

The only thing missing now is the 'exotic' dancer.

I kid, I kid, she doesn't have to be exotic ???

LOL Stop, I have work tomorrow... Maybe 10 years ago would be a different story :P

Some special Cigars I've had lately (during my vacation)...

@Duxnutz

2) La Flor de Cano Grandiosos Regional Edition 2013 ROL Oct 13 (Thanks @golfdude888)

Remember when these came out what big sellers they were? Is that 4 or 5 years ago now? My how time flies! I know El Pres has had these 10-count boxes up last year, and I think they were some of the last he had in stock. If you've picked these up, kudos to you. Cheers Steve for letting me try this one too...a nice change-of-pace with floral and citrus notes interspersed with a very light cocoa edge.

Not a packaging I've ever seen. Thanks ! Did they always have bands in the petacas ?

I think prior to 2006 when the des Dieux where streamlined into banded 25-count Slide Lid Boxes you could get them in 5-count Cardboard packaging and they were banded, usually at Duty Free places I believe (although honestly I am speculating here). I got gifted this by @Duxnutz and as he is a pilot, I wouldn't be surprised if he picked this vitola up that way via his travels years ago.

...and you can even distinguish them by the type of the band.

Rather tasty Monte 5 in glorious, if cold, sunshine. Waiting on hire equipment so I can actually get some work done. Could be worse, I suppose...fb798258c6abb7b205457b7c4e7f3614.jpg

Another meeting at the Davidoff lounge in Stuttgart.

My first Boli Tesoro RE 5ta Avenida. Started good, then turned very bitter and then recovered. Way too young and too wet. My friend smoked one that tunneled badly.

Then an outstanding LGC MdO #1 from 2002.

Finally an unknown and forgettable LFD.
